Co-Founder and Senior Psychologist

I believe that establishing a safe, supportive, and collaborative relationship is important to be able to facilitate change. I am an active participant in the therapy process with adults and collaborate to help you remove barriers and use your innate capacities for growth. It takes such courage to do this work, and what is needed to help facilitate change varies for each individual. Together, using creativity and feedback, we’ll discover the unique combination of needed to help you change and grow. When working with children and adolescents, I am creative and flexible in determining the most effective approach to connect with your child to help them express themselves, integrating art and play therapy when indicated.

I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from LIU-Brooklyn campus, and while I generally rely on talk therapy, I am also a licensed creative arts therapist and integrate non-verbal treatment when appropriate, such as with some children, adolescents, and trauma survivors. I also work well with adults in creative professions who may be feeling stuck or want to deepen their emotional access to deepen their creative work. I have a diverse background in treating patients of all ages and various cultural backgrounds. I am a certified as a level 3 Accelerated (AEDP) therapist and have advanced training in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). I often work experientially, focusing on the present and seeking out transformational processes rather than a focus on the past that more traditional approaches may have. I am able to also provide psychotherapy in Greek.
